Job Description
The Desktop & Application Administrator will provide desktop IT support to internal users with the client. The person in this role will also work with the IT & Engineering team to resolve security, networking, and application issues
Job Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support to users with the client, including but not limited to hardware, phone issues, and software
- Onboard and offboard of all users
- Administer the company’s MDM solution
- Educate internal users on how to use hardware and software
- Work with vendors to resolve software issues that may arise
- Participate in the day-to-day routine of application-related tickets in support of the client’s Engineering team
- Work with a team of individuals troubleshooting and supporting hardware, software, IT
- Assist in executing technology-related projects
- Assist in application testing
- Administer company communication systems (telecom, email, chat)
- Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets and service requests assigned to the team in accordance with SLO’s and SLA’s
- Assist in maintaining information security for company hardware
- Assist in installing, administering, and managing hardware, software, and peripheral components
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Meet all SLA’s and SLO’s as defined by management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of advanced work on PCs, Network +, and Security
- 2+ years experience helping end-users with hardware and software solutions in a help desk-related role, CRM experience, VOIP experience
- Proven track record of troubleshooting technical solutions and explaining them to a non-IT professional
- Advanced knowledge of G-Suite and Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience with cloud-based networks
- Unix shell experience preferred
- Call center support experience preferred
System Requriements
- At least 15mbps main internet and at least 10mbps for backup
- A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup
- Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption
