Job Description

Work under the guidance of the DOS and Senior Sales Manager to manage assigned client accounts and markets so as to meet the targets.

Financial:

  • Work with the DOS or Sales Manager and relevant parties to develop a marketing plan that identifies market niche and segments.
  • Monitor and review sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage, and sales priorities in order to achieve plan goals.

Customer:

  • Produce and pursue sales leads for the hotel room and banquet business.
  • Maintain responsibility for and organize the designated portfolio of accounts.
  • Implement the agreed tactical sales plans that focus on market niches and segments identified in the marketing plan.
  • Continued business development and sales account productivity.
  • Conducts regular ocular inspection, entertainment, physical sales visits, telemarketing, sales blitzes.

Internal Business Process:

  • Provides timely information flows in accordance with the required sales administration process.
  • Daily meetings with all sales staff in the identification of the daily leads, potential account production.
  • Coordinates closely and openly with the Sales team and all other departments for efficient dissemination of the sales information details.
  • Optimize room utilization by accessing the demand and supply of rooms.
  • Process reservations, BEOS group action memos, contracts and all other necessary documents in the selling process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration Management, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for sales manager, at least 3 years for account executives, and 1 year for sales coordinator
  • Has experience in building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through research, sourcing new leads, and leveraging your network
  • Is an articulate communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibits strong skills in sales and contract negotiation with a proven track record of closing deals. For sales coordinator, working knowledge in sales administration is required.
  • Is self-motivated, intellectually curious and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Candidate must be willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City but due to the nature of the job, shall be open to occasional travel.
