Job Description
- Work with local ICT resources to agree AD design principles that meet best practices and the needs of each operation
- Ensure each region or country based AD adheres to agreed design principles
- Ensure each region or country based AD has efficient and reliable trust relationships to enable effective global application authentication and resource access for mobile users.
- Maintain security and integrity of schema
- Oversee modifications to schema
- Creation and implementation of a full disaster recovery plan and practice of schema and trusts
- Creation and implementation of delegated rights design to ensure access levels are appropriate
- Review DC event and security logs and take corrective action
- Work with global and local security resources to ensure domains meet security standards and any breaches are handled in line with organizational policy
- Manage group policy and the root of the domains and Domain Controllers OU
- Manage group policy creation and change process for all domains
- Support local ICT staff with AD queries
- Train local ICT staff in advanced AD tasks where required
- Create global Crawford & Company AD strategy using input from all stakeholders e.g. Senior ICT Management, Security, and Technical Leads.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5-years Microsoft Active Directory experience
- At least 8-years in an IT Operations or Support environment
- MCSE certification is an advantage
- In-depth understanding and experience of Microsoft Logical and Physical Active Directory Structures
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory concepts and configuration security groups, inherited rights, delegation, OU structure, object types and attributes
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with Active Directory in an Enterprise environment, including deployment, upgrades, configuration management, administration, federation services and troubleshooting
- Experience with Active Directory integration with Office 365, Azure Cloud Services and SaaS environments and services (e.g. Security Center, VPN Gateway, CASB, etc.)
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server installation, administration, support, tuning and troubleshooting
- Fluent in PowerShell or other scripting/programming language
- Experience with SSO, SAML Authentication, LDS/LDAP, AD Certificate, AD Domain, AD Federation; AD Rights Management Services
- Experience in managing Certificate of Authority (Microsoft or 3rd party), PKI services and digital certificates (assign/create/issue)
- Experience working in an enterprise environment with Incident Management, Change Management, and SOX controls
- Understanding of Role Based Access Control with Identity Access Management integration
