Edutech Coach  

Responsibilities:

• Plan and spearhead the usage of technology within the institution that results in better productivity and heightened learning experience among faculty and students.
• Make classes more exciting by helping and coaching other teachers in using technology in the classroom. This means helping them develop lesson plans, classroom observations, and auditing course materials.
• Be the bridge between academics and the IT department. Assess resources and training needs.
• Make blended learning and paperless classrooms and processes the reality
• Ensure that the team and faculty are properly trained and fully compliant with the systems adopted by CIIT and the Academics department
• Teach at least one subject per trimester. Maximum nine (9) units teaching load per term.
• Model and promote Digital CIITizenship.
• Provide reports and updates on the impact of the technologies adopted by CIIT and the Academics department

KPI:

• LMS adoption rate of teachers and students measured every trimester
• Technology adoptions of all faculty and students
• Satisfaction rating of of faculty and students during job satisfaction survey

• Has at least a year of college-level teaching experience
• Extensive knowledge of Learning Management Software, School Resource Management Software, Student Information Systems and other cloud-based software used by Higher Education Institutions
• You will be talking a lot! So communication skills should be top-notch.
• It would be awesome too if you could do full stack web development and/or use Adobe software.
