Job Description
- Performs regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
- Performs implementation activities such as program promotions, installation of the system, training, and tutorial of end-users.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary.
- Upgrade and configure system software that supports IT infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project or operational needs.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required. Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science
- One-year experience in Systems Administration/System Engineer of Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
- Basic Networking and internet administration experience in a network setting and configuring network devices such as Cisco, Firewall, HP and others
- Basic knowledge in database administration – Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL
- Experience in Active directory(MS Windows 2003/2008/2012) administration and setup
- Network and Internet security knowledge.
- Experience in Administering and setting up VOIP solutions and systems.
