Accounting Manager  

The Accounting Manager oversees all day to day operations of the Accounting, Finance and Admin. Reporting directly to the Chairman, he/she directs and manages the activities of the department towards the goals and targets set by Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor cash, receivables, government remittances and SEC reportorial requirements, contract and agreements with clients and suppliers, billing for T&M and fixed projects, compensation and benefits, municipal requirements for payment of permits and taxes
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports to aid management and other stakeholders in making sound business decisions.
• Ensure government reports/returns are prepared and filed on time.
• Prepare cash position and cash flow.
• Prepare foreign invoices, projection report, journal vouchers, correspondences
• Prepare employee action forms for salary increases and notices.
• Prepare BIR quarterly ITRs.
• Analyze accounts and prepare in house financial reports.
• Check sales invoices, disbursements (check vouchers and cheques).
• Check and encode payroll data, compute payroll and approve payroll online.
• Coordinate with brokers for required bonds and insurances of clients.
• Post client payments on Quickbooks.
• Handle bank reconciliations.
• Process employee loan application.
• Summarize annual employee salaries and compute final annual withholding taxes.
• Compute billability incentives, business unit incentives and other incentives (if any).
• Compute project costing, cost per role of Consultants.
• Coordinate with legal counsel for any legal documentations.
• Prepare audit requirements.
• Coordinate with auditor for the preparation of audited Financial Reports.
• Prepare response to BIR audit and examinations.
• Attend to queries of staff and sales.
• Encode and update sales report.
• Attend to other management requirements.

Hiring Criteria:

• Candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant
• At least 5 years work related experience
• Preferably Manager/Assistant Manager specialized in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
• Well versed in accounting and financial analysis, general accounting procedures, audit, tax regulations, payroll
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and QuickBooks
• Strong leadership and decision -making skills
• Keen attention to details, high integrity
• Very good communication and presentation skills
