Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 6-8 developers to deliver reliable, scalable, maintainable, secure and high-performance websites.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver business outcome successfully, through appropriate management of their expectations and objectives.
- Motivate the team with purpose, autonomy, and mastery to cultivate intrinsic motivation, effective productivity, and successful performance.
- Design and build a cross-functional team which has all necessary skills to deliver a business outcome.
- Measure and improve the websites' key indicators to foster the culture of continuous improvement.
- Prioritize tech-debt and ensure the websites are meeting high-quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Others), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Must have at least 7 years' experience in software development, 2 of which in a managerial role
- Familiar with DevOps & Agile practices and leading the team to achieve/implement:
- Continuous Integration & Delivery,
- Immutable Infrastructure Pattern
- Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Test-driven development & Behavior-Driven Development
- Application Performance Management
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work well in a diverse environment
- Ability to engage and retain your team through coaching, and helping them to learn and grow
- Ability to align with organization mission and strategy and help team to make progress on meaningful work
