Job Description
- Responsible for security and safety of employees. This entails all aspects of physical security and safety including a definition of priorities, allocation of resources and alignment with business objectives. This position will report directly to Director of Worldwide Corporate Security.
- Responsible for all aspects of physical security and safety including management of perimeter security including access control and badging systems, closed circuit cameras, alarm systems and monitoring, lobby visitor sign-in system, and the Security Command Center.
- Primary focus will be on the daily supervision and administration of contract security guard force in The Philippines.
- Coordinate security for special events as required such as company meetings, picnics, etc
- Oversee key outsourced Security vendor relationships, most notably employee bus transportation to/from the company
- Oversee a variety of security projects at each of locations in The Philippines
- Assist with emergency response program
- Assist with local Environmental Health and Safety functions
- Develop, track and measure key performance metrics for the Corporate Security Department
- Assist with security investigations as required
- Working with other security managers, ensure that security policies and standards are met for consistency
- Prepare budgets for site Security operations
- Oversee the daily operations of bus shuttle transportation program for employees
Minimum Qualifications
- Leadership and sound judgment. Must be a leader in emergency situations
- Strong management skills and associated experience
- Must have 100% credibility, objectivity, and respect across all parts of the business.
- Ability to identify risk and define mitigation measures. Proactive mindset.
- Hands on, creative and enthusiastic management style preferred
- Ability to build relationships with staff and business leaders
- Ability to collaborate with other service functions within the company (IT, HR, Production, Facilities, Safety, )
- Basic understanding of Building and Fire Codes
- Basic understanding of Codes associated with management of hazardous chemicals
- 3-5 years in a similar role within a major corporation
- Experience in some form of law enforcement preferred
- Service-oriented/customer-driven approach
- Excellent organizational skills
- Solid decision-making and judgment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Bachelor’s degree or similar preferred
- CTPAT knowledge preferred
- Experience with Access Control and IP based CCTV systems, including troubleshooting skills
