Job Description
- Implement new supply chain processes in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and qualify new suppliers.
- Tracks and monitors flow of products/containers from source to storage points to customer.
- Identifies issues and concerns that may hinder the flow of products'/containers and recommends plans to the management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any related courses.
- Minimum of 5-Years of working experience preferably from a manufacturing company.
- Experience in Supply Chain or any equivalent.
- Knowledge of indirect materials planning and purchasing/buying concepts and processes.
- Understanding of manufacturing set-up/business.
- Ability to create and implement new and improved supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical, planning and organization.
- Good communication and presentation skills and leadership skills.
