Job Description
- Ensure high availability and performance of Data Security solutions and networks
- Develop Security programs and processes for day to day security operations
- Ensure proper operation of security systems & solutions installed
- Evaluate and propose new technological or process driven systems to increase efficiency or productivity.
- Supports internal security and network device configurations, including firewalls, Switches, Routers, IPS/IDS, wireless Access
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
- Experience developing, operating, and maintaining Vulnerability Management Programs, specifically around Nexpose/Metasploit technologies
- Experience developing, operating, and maintaining Incident Response Plans
- Experience with monitoring Security Events
- Experience performing Analysis and remediation of security events
- Experience with Security solutions such as Splunk, Varonis, WebSense, Symantec End Point Protection
- Experience with Palo Alto and Juniper Firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, RADIUS, TACACS, Certificates
- Experience with routing such as, OSPF, BGP, RIP a bonus
- Experience in MPLS, IPSec, Switching a bonus
- Monitors internal network using variety of tools including Solarwinds, Alertra, Rapid7
- Analyze & troubleshoot security and network issues using various tools, commands, and captures.
- Works in close cooperation with other team members to resolve problems promptly when they arise.
- Is available on call on a rotation basis to respond to network outages or performance problems.
- Ensures all infrastructure changes are reviewed and approved by the CAB, and implemented according to documented IT procedures.
- Maintains a consistent IT Infrastructure change lifecycle by verifying that all documentation requirements are met before, during, and after the change.
- Works closely with Business Process Leaders to document and communicate global infrastructure changes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science, related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Certifications: ISC2 Certification (CISSP, SCCP), GIAC Certification (GSE, Multiple GIAC Certs)
- Experience: Proven experience and success with solid security system and program design and implementation. Strong experience in WAN, LAN, WLAN, WWAN troubleshooting a bonus. Windows Server knowledge is a bonus.
- Technologies Desired: HP Switching, Juniper, Palo Alto (or other NextGen Firewall), Meraki, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Splunk, Rapid7, Cisco ISE, RADIUS, Certificates
- Nice to have Technologies: Websense, PGP, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Powershell
- Understanding of IT Operational principles including basic awareness of ITIL concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including sensitivity to multiple language barriers.
- Other language skills, including French, Portuguese and Mandarin a plus
- Excellent computer and internet skills (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Experience with Service-Now.com or a similar ticketing system is a plus.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent listening skills, including the ability to coach.
