Job Description
- Lead product development from conceptualization to full-scale production
- Work together with the marketing team to identify trends and come up with product innovations
- Coordinate with toll manufacturers on technical issues
- Troubleshoot formulation-related issues in production
- Work with the team to further improve current formulations and test alternate suppliers for raw materials
- Provide technical review and assessment of issues related to quality and manufacture of products
- Prepare a comprehensive technical dossier on manufacturing directions, specifications, process protocols as basis for production
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in R&D for pharmaceuticals or cosmetics with knowledge of natural products
- Experience in formulating with natural ingredients is a distinct advantage
- Strong desire to use your skills to benefit the country and consumers
- Determination and commitment - natural products require much trial and error
- Proficiency in the use of computers and MS Office applications
- Strong analytical skills
- Dynamic personality and must be able to work well with a team
- A keen interest in natural and organic personal care products
