Job Description
- Design and prepare PCB layout, schematics and select components to be used for air conditioning controllers.
- Specify, review, test, and evaluate engineering related electrical / electronic components, schematics, PCB layout, component selection, etc.
- Create, compile, and debug PCB related software used for the air conditioning controller.
- Create electrical/electronic test qualification map that will comply with international standards, EMC, safety and other related standards.
- Prepare material and control specification related to PCB and electronic components.
- Prepare and build PCB and electrical parts for prototype units for evaluation and testing.
- Study and research on new technology and conduct product benchmarking among competitors and own products and create proposals for product development in the future.
- Develop and collaborate with highly valuable suppliers, partners, academe and professionals that will help build CCAC R&D house 2020.
- Provide the necessary training development program in order to equip the people with the Ttechnical skills needed for competency development on controls.
- Prepare and evaluate technical drawing/ specifications using available software used in product development;
- Work in conjunction with advanced product and technology development and look at new technology trends in the market.
- Conduct scanning of competitor activities in order to come up with new products and technology roadmap in order to identify the products and technology that will be developed and manufactured by CCAC in the future.
- Continuously support various process and product improvements, alternative material selection, cost reduction, and other value engineering works in order to produce better quality and cost-competitive product in order to meet the company target.
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers regarding issues that arise from production/ field complaints relating to the product by conducting investigation/field job, market feedback, and technical analysis.
- Recommend solutions and improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- Graduate of Electrical/Electronic Engineering course
- With PHD or Masters on Power Electronics or equivalent
- Training and Certification
- With or without license
- Extensive experience on the PCB Hard ware design and/or programming software on some of the items listed below:
- Altium Designer
- Power PCB
