Job Description
- Develop products that meet customers' and manufacturing's requirements.
- Work with manufacturing teams and/or suppliers to ensure products meet quality requirements and are completed on time and on a budget.
- Manage technical timeframes and workflow of internal and external resources.
- Utilize standard development processes and work.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Participate in first article manufacturing trials, lab testing, and field trials.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Preferably knowledgeable in CAD modeling in NX.
- Preferably with experience in tooling design, casting design, fabrication design, and Agile PLM.
- Preferably with experience working with computer-based stress analysis (FEA).
- Prior experience with crushing machines or other industrial processing equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of and interest in Design for Manufacture and Lean Manufacturing principles.
