Job Description
- Lead the Air Export department in all operational disciplines and ensure operational quality, productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and handle operations for all international air export freight activities.
- Check the accuracy of all documents including pre-alerts and billings.
- Resolve escalated customer problems.
- Take operational, routing, and responsibility for all files and shipments handled.
- Complete all necessary export documentation in order to remain compliant with regulations.
- Assist the Manager for the airfreight cost for Tender Desk, Sales, CS, and overseas stations / agents.
- Enter and update export shipments information into the system.
- Participate in client meetings alongside other members of the team.
- Establish and maintain a positive relationship with both internal and external customers and vendors.
- Respond to any customers' questions concerning export shipment status and other inquiries.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the superior.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following:
- Customs Admin
- Airline Operation
- Airport Management
- Logistics / Transportation
- Any equivalent course
- At least three (3) years working experience on a Freight Forwarding or Logistics business.
- Thorough knowledge of Air Export environment and its regulations.
- In depth knowledge of Air Export Processes.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Team player.
