Job Description
- Directing the Accounting function on general accounting and payment processing, credit and collection, sales and inventory control and payroll;
- Supervising the Treasury function, ensuring the most efficient use of capital and a secure handling of all bank and cash transactions, as well as leading initiatives to improve the company’s cash flow;
- Meeting the financial and statutory reporting requirements and providing management with the financial results and analysis for tracking actual performance versus budget;
- Supporting the business unit in maximizing revenue and profitability through timely and insightful financial analysis;
- Ensuring that appropriate financial and operational controls are in place to safeguard company assets;
- Driving the business process simplification and automation to eliminate non value adding activities while ensuring controls are in place.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
- At least 5-8 years of relevant work experience;
- Preferably at least 2-3 years supervisory/managerial experience;
- CPA and/or MBA a plus;
- Preferably with exposure to PEZA Processes and compliance;
- Technical knowledge on BPO operations and processes;
- Strong accounting skills and attention to detail required;
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Access and Project is a plus;
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer-based accounting applications required;
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills required;
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) required;
- Demonstrates consistency in values, principles and work ethic;
- Customer service orientation and strong presentation skills to internal and external parties required;
- Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners;
- Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs.
