Job Description
- Work with brand management, Operational & Functional Group Heads to prepare budgets and forecasts that achieve sales, share and profit targets;
- Perform variance analysis and complex finance activities including monthly and ad hoc financial statement analysis and commentary, pricing analytics and scenario modeling;
- Proficient in MEA/discounted cash flow models and ROI analytics, used to prepare financial analysis of new products, new businesses, (including line extensions/restages) and marketing spend;
- Provide financial counsel to cross-functional teams, improving decision making and developing solutions to address business issues;
- Serve as a key business advisor to brand management and group operations, providing timely and in-depth analyses of planned and executed marketing programs, with emphasis on improving return on investment of advertising and promotional programs;
- Drive Delivered Profit improvement by working with manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics and other and other groups to identify and implement cost savings projects;
- Manage net working capital by leading S&OP process with inventory and business planning teams to ensure that optimal supply and demand decisions are made. Drive SKU optimization efforts;
- Lead special projects across various groups that support corporate initiatives/objectives; identify and implement best practices; develop processes to improve efficiency or increase analytical capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
- 5+ years relevant experience, showing steady increase in responsibilities;
- Demonstrated analytical skill set and financial statement management;
- Experience in product supply finance, sales finance, exposure to marketing/strategic business issues, significant analytical projects, and fundamental accounting;
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to teams. Ability to influence, lead and collaborate to achieve objectives and produce results;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization;
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Familiarity with BPC and SAP is desirable. Quick adaptability to multiple computer systems required;
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time;
