Job Description
- To ensure the smooth Management of the BPO Team for Australia & New Zealand including Singapore
- Act as the main point of contact between overseas offices and the local BPO Team
- To ensure that the BPO Team remain enthusiastic about the role and focused on their responsibilities
- Tight Operational controls to ensure all shipments are registered, and acted upon in a prompt and efficient manner
- Provide training and oversee the continual development of staff in the BPO Team
- Balance the needs of key stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Industrial Engineering or any relayed field, with a minimum of 5 years Freight Forwarding operational experience
- Tertiary or University level education
- Previous experience in managing a BPO is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of all business units –sea& air Import; Sea & Air export
- Fluent English–spoken & written
- Sound computer skills specifically for software used for presentations such as MS Visio or MS PowerPoint
- Strong Leadership &people skills, knows how to mentor staff
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to achieve objectives and meetdeadlines
- Ability to identify & support new team members, ensuring they have the knowledge
- Effectively participate & work as part of the team
- Ability to prioritize &multi-task
- The ability to be quick, resourceful, flexible, and have keen on detail
- Possess strong analytical/problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
- Ability to travel as required (training)
