Job Description
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Assists in developing and implementing strategic plans for purchasing and inventory, aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
- Analyze market trends and business requirements to forecast future needs and plan accordingly.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
2. Supplier Management
- Assists in assessing and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness and delivery performance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts and oversee their performance.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Assists in supplier accreditation.
3. Procurement and Inventory Management
- Assists in developing procurement strategies and policies to ensure timely availability of materials while optimizing inventory levels and costs.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine material requirements, create purchase orders and track order status.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand trends and implement inventory control measures to reduce stock-outs and prevent excess inventory.
4. Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
- Assists in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, and implement corrective actions.
5. Risk Management:
- Assists in identifying potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain and developing contingency plans to minimize their impact.
- Monitor market conditions, regulatory changes and geopolitical factors that may affect the supply chain.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies, such as dual sourcing, inventory buffering and supplier diversification.
6. Team Management and Development:
- Foster a collaborative results-driven culture, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelors in Business Administration or related field
- With at least 7 years of working experience in the related field
- Experience as a Supply Chain Supervisor or Assistant Purchasing Manager
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and techniques
- Possesses effective organizational and team working skills
- Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills
- High level integrity and excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Computer literate, MS Office and SAP proficient
- Amenable to work in Taguig City

About Concrete Masters, Inc.
Concrete Masters, Inc. engaged in ready mix concrete supply and heavy equipment trading through its subsidiary, Icon Equipment.
CMI was originally established in 1996 as a major partner in building a new metropolis: the Fort Bonifacio Global City. Four months after the property sites were turned over to CMI, the company established a turnkey pre-mixed concrete company.
CMI established its heavy equipment trading division in 2008. In 2013, Concrete Masters, Inc. created ICON Equipment as a fully owned subsidiary to handle all trading, rental and service operations.
CMI has a plant in Taguig. The plant is installed with an automated concrete batching plant, concrete mixer trucks and all the necessary equipment to complete operations.
