Job Description
- Envision, Plan, Create, Expand and Optimize hyper-local, regional and national SEM campaigns (including search, display, video, app)
- Create well-reasoned hypothesis and execute, and manage experiments to test those hypotheses
- Become familiar with all sources of growth data and quickly pull, integrate, and analyze data as needed
- Work closely with the rest of Marketing team to ensure PPC tactics are aligned with overall marketing strategies and are together driving lead and conversion goals
- Implement successful bidding strategies, optimization techniques, effective keyword management, monitor - revise - and conduct ads and landing page tests bi-weekly
- Communicate weekly on status, timeline, budget, performance and competitive intelligence analysis
- Maintain up to date knowledge and insight regarding best practices, new emerging trends and any new game-changing events in the field of SEM
Minimum Qualifications
- While no specific prior technical experience is necessary, to excel at this position you must have an entrepreneurial mentality and a background in preferably in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics or Mathematics
- Experience optimizing and expanding AdWords accounts through hypothesis-driven, analytical approaches
- Extremely quick thinker with a record of rapid turnaround on projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3+ years of experience with paid search engine advertising managing 6 figure spend per month
- Thorough knowledge of:
- AdWords Editor
- Trueview Video ad formats and video networks
- Various online keyword research tools
- Adwords Scripts
- Experience with analysis and reporting using Google Analytics
- Good verbal, quantitative, and presentation skills
