Job Description
- Responsible for activities assigned by the General Accounting Lead
- Perform reconciliations between system and partner transaction statements;
- Prepare extensive analysis of partner statements, bank reports and customer transactions;
- Detailed review and monitoring of large volume of transactions, updates data and monitors account balances;
- Actively researches discrepancies on different transactions and liaison with counterparts to ensure accuracy of transactions and proactively follows up on outstanding issues;
- Work closely with the Operations Team to resolve issues effectively and timely;
- Performs other tasks related to:
- Journal Entries
- Reconciliations
- Treasury / Cash Management
- Monthly Standard Activities
- Prepares accounts reconciliations and various analyses supporting daily, weekly and monthly financials;
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable analysis
- Escalates issues and seeks advice when faced with complex issues / problems.
- Required to assist less experienced or temporary staff.
- Accurate, efficient and organized within daily responsibilities.
- Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.
- Escalates accounting issues to his/her team leader as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate with business related course
- Loves numbers
- Passion for startups and financial inclusion
- Detail -oriented, professional attitude and reliable
- Must be well organized, self-starter and willing to work with less supervision
- CPA license with an audit firm experience would be an advantage
