Who we're looking for

As a STRATEGIC MARKETING MANAGER, you will be leading the Strategic Marketing team. Your team will play a key role in driving the company’s growth through the management of an end-to-end customer lifecycle strategy which includes the conceptualization, execution and evaluation of relevant and personalized initiatives related to customer acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement. You understand the nuances of each stage in the customer lifecycle so you can offer relevant content and rewards that can move our customers from one stage to the next.

You will also have access to all marketing and customer data coming from different source points (internal and external). You will be tasked with ensuring that this information is properly cascaded to the rest of the marketing team and the Coins management team in assessing the performance of marketing initiatives and identifying areas for improvement.

As a key support group for the marketing team, your team will also be responsible for budget monitoring and tracking and ensuring compliance with all company policies.

What you'll do

As a Strategic Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Lead the Strategic Marketing Team in the following:
    • Help strategize and execute initiatives for each stage of the customer journey, from acquisition to advocacy.
    • Analyze data and identify growth opportunities based on customer behavior, use cases, acquisition channels, competitors, and market trends.
    • Conceptualize, launch, and monitor rewards and promotions and ensure these are scalable, cost-efficient, and in line with KPIs.
    • Design, plan, execute, and A/B test multi-channel (email, push, in-app and SMS) lifecycle campaigns.
    • Continuously improve content and targeting to ensure higher engagement and conversion.
    • Work closely with Product, Engineering and Operations to improve user conversion and make the product experience more seamless
    • Coordinate with other marketing functions in order to launch campaigns in a timely manner
    • Identify and suggest new tools and technologies for marketing automation
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements and deadlines are met
    • Define and report on key metrics
    • Perform other related duties and tasks as may be required from time to time

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Marketing with relevant exposure to mobile marketing, and lifecycle marketing
  • Graduate of Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or any related course (or experience)
  • Effective leader and team player
  • Creative problem solver who is curious about what makes people tick
  • Strong analytical approach to campaign performance and optimization
  • Proficient in marketing automation platforms (e.g. Clevertap, Intercom etc.)
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g. Amplitude, Periscope etc.)
  • Experience in running content experiments and customer retention programs
  • Passionate about building a brand by creating genuine and authentic customer relationships
  • Excellent command of English and Filipino, both verbal and written communication
  • Highly-flexible, able to wear multiple hats, and thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Thinks fast under pressure and solves problems on-the-go
  • Trustworthy and able to protect confidential information with discretion
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work quickly without supervision
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Able to collaborate with team members
  • Has a track record for getting things done - drive, ownership, and execution is at the core of our culture
  • Coding experience is a plus (HTML and Markdown preferred)
