Senior Manager, Data Services and Computing Infrastructure  

The Sr. Manager of the Data Services and Quality Assurance will report to the Head of Data Services, Operations & Quality Control and will be in charge of the installation, administration, and maintenance of computing infrastructure and the design, development, and deployment of data warehouse, data mart, and dashboard/reporting solutions.

• Install, administer, and maintain computing infrastructure.
• Create a fluid, end-to-end vision for how data will flow (storage, analysis, rapid access and archiving) through the organization
• Develop data models for database structures
• Design, document, construct and deploy database architectures and applications (e.g. large relational databases)
• Constantly monitor, refine and report on the performance of data management systems
• Infrastructure oversight: IT (database design, storage, computer hardware/ software), telephony, connectivity (digital & management productivity tools like office-based and mobile telecommunications equipment, TC, VTC, Web Ex and the like) – strategy development, vendor selection, deployment, maintenance and appropriate upgrade
• IT Security and controls end to end responsibility & accountability
• In charge of the company’s Business continuity plan
• Collaborate with Data analytics team and Client services team to devise a data strategy that addresses and anticipates various client requirements
• Identify and evaluate current data management technologies: Cobena’s and clients’, recommending fit for purpose strategies, deployment plans and budgets
• Promote the use of IT tools to increase productivity, mobile use and collaboration while ensuring data security consciousness is observed at all times
• Integrate technical functionality (e.g. scalability, security, performance, data recovery, reliability, etc.)
• Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
• Partners with the Analytics team for the identification of key reports, processes and ensures that the company’s hardware, software and database infrastructure can fully support business requirements
• Client interface as and when required, particularly in support of database/ system/ security proposals/ recommendations
• Responsible for maintaining the optimum security infrastructure for all the internal and external data handled by the organization
• Ensure adequate documentation and conformity to global data management protocols
• Ensures the organization’s compliance with local and international government body legislation including but not limited to data security, personal identifiable information, industry-specific regulations, etc.
• Provides the quality control infrastructure for reports generation
• Provides back-up support to the Data analytics team in the event of work overflow
• Liaises with external vendors to ensure ongoing upgrade of the system capabilities of the organization
• Any additional responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

• Technical Skills (Database Management, Computer Science, System administration)
