Job Description
As a a Senior Digital Media Planner/Buyer, you will be responsible for planning, negotiating and executing digital media plans. You will be part of the end-to-end process, from the digital strategy to conceptualizing and executing promotions and digital media plans, up to driving and tracking sales to customers (if required).
You won't be alone in this journey. With you will be a team of accounts, creatives, and digital experts who will work alongside with you to achieve clients' marketing and goals.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Functions as lead (and support to the Digital Director) for all paid digital media, including (but not limited to) social ads, programmatic display, and paid search across markets
- Works closely with partner agencies to plan, implement and optimize performance.
- Supports overall marketing activity by developing and implementing media plans, whether implemented in-house or via agency.
- Reviews budget allocations and recommends media spends per channel in accordance with marketing targets and objectives. Ensures that media spends are used efficiently.
- Works with the Digital, Media, and Accounts team to develop cohesive digital strategies across all markets.
- Implement ad operations in-house (Meta, Google, SEO, SEM)
- Tracks and provides regular reports on paid media activity. Performs necessary corrections and optimization as needed.
- Coordinates and guides the creative team on the development of specific digital media materials.
General KPIs
- Campaign specific metrics
- ROAS or overall ROMI per campaign.
- Agency performance metrics.
Minimum Qualifications
2-4 years experience in a digital media planning/buying position, including programmatic digital media planning and buying. Previous experience in a digital media agency is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong analytical and number skills
- Project management, good at multi-tasking and organization.
- Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience analyzing data and market research
- Basic statistical analysis experience is a plus
- Google Adwords and FB Blueprint certification a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
- Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Strong written, verbal communication and negotiation skills. Good presentation skills a plus
- Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes
