Job Description
Our client in New Zealand is looking for a back end website developer. This role will be working along side a fantastic development team to get projects delivered on time and on scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Will be in charge of managing frameworks, making sure they are up to date (Wordpress plugins etc.) building templates for websites as well as testing websites on browsers
- Will be in charge of building systems to scope, from the ground up and liaising progress with the rest of the development/management team.
- Will be working in an Agile Scrum team environment that share resources and experience to get projects across the line. Will report both to the senior developer in your team as well as the Project Manager to ensure coding is to a good standard and is on track.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in open source platforms and CMS, object orientated PHP and angularjs
- Must have experience in Node JS, HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, Bootstrap 3 and MySQL
- Preferably with Javascript platform experience
- Experience in Wordpress, Symphony, Silverstripe is a plus
- Good handle on Adobe Creative Suite
- Able to map out entire databases based on project briefs
- Experience with Git or Bitbucket for code management
- Passionate about Digital Media, social media, technology, creative industries
- Positive attitude
- Impeccable English language and communication skills
