Job Description
- Be able to work independently but with regular video-call meetings with other development team members overseas.
- Maintain and extend the existing platform to add new features.
- Write efficient code and unit tests for it
- Ability to learn new technologies and apply them
- Good communication skills in English, written and verbal.
- Attention to detail, and desire to probe further into data
- Maintain confidentiality of project and client data
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements
- We're looking for a software developer with 2 or more years of web application development in Python.
- Experience with Pyramid framework preferable or Flask or Django. Database experience essential, with MongoDB an advantage. You'll also need
- Version control experience with GIT
- Sharp HTML / CSS / Javascript skills . Vue.js experience is a plus
- An eye for design and good UX / UI
- Good grasp of data structures and able to work with JSON
- Ability to work with chart libraries
- Ability to take a wireframe prototype drawing and understand what data will be required to implement it
- Skills with API design to get the data needed in a useful format
- To be highly motivated and keen to work on an already successful project as part of a distributed team.
