Job Description
Clear is looking for a highly reliable, independent Virtual Receptionist to work with our clients, leading health practices in Australia.
Role and Opportunity
Your new role is to provide reception support to the onshore team. You will be primarily in-charge of implementing an effective phone call system, such as taking the phone calls from existing patients to make or change a booking, diverting calls, etc.
The Virtual Receptionist will provide our clients with reception support and appointment tasks. The clients need support that will allow them to focus on the growth and development of their practice and free them up from tasks and routine obligations that are currently taking away from that focus.
The role suits people who can switch between different types of tasks and respond to the changing requirements of a given day.
Purpose
As a Virtual Receptionist, you will:
- Manage virtual reception for our client, handling inbound calls, emails and social media messaging
- Help our client drive their business forward by enabling them to focus on the important items
As a Virtual Receptionist, your daily tasks may include:
- Handle all phone calls effectively with politeness and in a professional manner
- Follow the proper procedure when requested to divert a call
- Triage new patient referrals and schedule appointments for them
- Manage incoming (virtual) faxes from the clinic’s inbox and import them into the relevant patient’s file, and forward to the relevant doctor
- Handle social media and website inquiries
- Contribute to team’s effort and perform other duties as requested by the client or assigned by the management
Minimum Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Proficient with MS Office application, particularly Outlook, with at least basic Excel skills
- At least 1-year call handling experience
- Experience in CRM
Advantageous (Optional)
- Experience in handling Australian accounts
- Experience in any medical-related software
- Has a clear or neutral accent
