Job Description
- Originate and develop ideas to design the form of manufactured products:
- Read publications.
- Attend showings.
- Consult with Engineering, Marketing, Production, and Sales Representatives to establish design concepts.
- Evaluate design ideas based on factors such as appealing appearance, design-function relationships, serviceability, materials and methods engineering, application, budget, price, production costs, methods of production, market characteristics, and client specifications.
- Integrate findings and concepts and sketch design ideas.
- Present design to client or design committee and discusses need for modification and change.
- Design product packaging and graphics for advertising.
- Build simulated model using hand and power tools and various materials.
- Prepare illustrations.
- Prepare or coordinate preparation of working drawings from sketches and design specifications.
- Design products for custom applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a BS degree in Industrial Design, Art, Design, Creative, Furniture –Making Design, or its equivalent.
- Preferably 5 years or more experience specializing in Art, Design, Creative, Furniture –Making Design or its equivalent.
- Ample supervisory working experience in the related field.
- Specialized product knowledge.
- Highly specializes in designing furniture products metal-based
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Equipped with excellent presentation skills.
- Creative and a team player.
- Can relate well with the hierarchy of the organization.
- Driven to accomplish a certain task in a given period.
- Willing to work in Sauyo Novaliches, Quezon City (near Mindanao Avenue).
