Job Description
- Directs the overall activities of the manufacturing facilities of the plant to ensure customer orders are received, scheduled, produced and delivered at the best possible cost to meet the customers’ requirements while maintaining corporate established quality standards.
- Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
- Review operations and confer with support group personnel to resolve production, supply chain, and logistics problems.
- Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production, supply chain, and logistics problems.
- Coordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines and equipment.
- Develop budgets or approve expenditures for supplies, materials, or human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, or equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets and client expectations.
- Initiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs.
- Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
- Direct and provide support to production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and logistics groups of the organization
- Maintain current knowledge of the quality control field, supply chain, and logistics, relying on current literature pertaining to materials use, technological advances, or statistical studies.
- Analyze plant operations to ensure that the facility maintains a leadership position in the industry and that it takes advantage of new processes and technologies that become available.
- Implements plant safety programs and ensure compliance with GMP / FSSC / HACCP.
- Responsible for the Food Security Policy/Program to assess potential food security risks and to ensure food security preventive measures are being implemented and routinely audited regarding the manufacturing, handling and storage of all food ingredients as well as finished goods.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Industrial) or Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent.
- At least 7-years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Proven experience in Production Planning and Efficiency with Multiple Lines
- Experience in executing incentive program
