Job Description
Responsible for reaching out via telephone to customers to collect payment for overdue loans. Acts as the liaison between the branches and customers in managing and curing overdue accounts.
- Assist in the generation of the callout list of people who have not made payments.
- Utilize computer systems and all other available resources to handle skip tracing.
- Prepares and distributes collection notices.
- Attempt to collect payment and set up visits/appointments to with the branches to agree on repayment plans and/or new terms of sale.
- Ensure records are updated if debt has been satisfied and recommend for write off for deceased clients.
- Generate reports for management.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of any 4-year business related course preferably Accountancy.
- Any experience in banking and collections is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skill, mature and dynamic. Resourceful, analytical and can work with less supervision.
- Excellent marketing and negotiation skills, computer literate and can drive 2w/4w vehicle and must have a driver’s license.
- Can work under pressure. Is able and willing to work overtime and travel.
