IT Business Analyst  

Job Summary

This position works closely with Management and Operational teams in evaluating business information systems, providing innovative IT solutions and preparing requirement specification. Works with business heads to identify system needs, analyze and assess impact of changes in business and provide advice on possible remedies. Liaises with business users to ensure effective communication and better understanding of business requirements/production findings. Provides guidance and coaching to other business analysts.

Job Purpose

To help organization improve their processes and systems. Conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to business problems and help to introduce these systems to businesses and their clients

• Up to date with the industry trends in terms of IT Application development systems, policies and legislation
• Knowledge on IT project management and change management
• Extensive knowledge on MS Office, MS Project, and IT software and databases

Education, Licenses and Certificates

• Graduate of a four (4) year baccalaureate course
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or other related courses
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)/ITIL certificate is a plus but not required.

Relevant Experience

• At least five (3) years of extensive work experience in Business Analysis.
