Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical depth and breadth across IT systems infrastructure including UNIX, Linux, Wintel, Virtualization, Storage, databases Servers and IT services support including management of resident and offshore operations engineers to ensure that IT services are effectively delivered to support the business.
  • Ensure Compliance of audit, regulatory, security policy and procedures such as applying latest patching and managing upgrades.
  • Ensure service level targets are met by ensuring systems are effectively monitored against abnormality and ensure escalation process is effective to minimize systems outrage.
  • Identify and improve systems resiliency, reliability and recoverability of infrastructure systems
  • Work with internal business units, partners and management on infrastructure projects
  • Prepare monthly Management reporting
  • Strategic planning of all infrastructure areas to align with regional infrastructure directions, industry trend and to support business growth
  • Explore ways to lower operating costs, streamline processes, and increase infrastructure availability and performance
  • Provide input to senior management on infrastructure directions and strategy
  • Manage and execute day-to-day operations of the IT Operations team and associated systems/services.
  • Manage vendors providing support systems/services to IT Operations and hold accountable to the contract
  • including preformance levels.
  • Ensure the security of the information systems, communication lines and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or other equivalent certifications and experience
  • Certification as System Architecture is preferred
  • 12+ years of overall experiecne with at least 5 years in technology, infrastructure, systems & integration.

Required Competencies and Skills:
Technical/Functional

  • Strong quality management and business process engineering skills
  • Minimum of 5 years ITSM process engineering and project management experience
  • Strong technical working knowledge of networking and network architecture
  • Strong technical working knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications and 3rd party services architecture, integration and operations
  • Must have a strong understanding of systems hardware, operating systems, centralized management tools, backup and recovery and monitoring
  • ITIL v2 or ITIL v3 certifications a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Philippines laws and regulations including banking and data privacy
  • Good project management, communication & presentation skills
  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Very strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to research issues for quick end-user problem resolution
