Job Description
- Enforce disciplinary rules and regulation of the school in accordance with the Student handbook.
- Assist the school heads in developing a school discipline policy.
- Implement policy guidelines as stated in the Student Handbook.
- Review the school discipline policy, school rules and the work of the discipline team and make changes according to the needs of the students, the school and the community.
- Form a hearing committee (AdHoc) depending on the case and the people involved.
- Conduct investigation for any allegation involving students and other parties.
- Determine and impose sanction and penalties according to the gravity of the case filed.
- Impose community service to any students as a form of correcting procedure.
- Collaborate with parents of students with behavior problems in helping the students overcome their difficulties.
- Communicate policies to students in preventing disciplinary offenses.
- Create and implement strategies through a campaign that will address behavioral concerns exhibited by a significant number of students.
- Oversee the discipline process.
- Assist other teachers in managing students with serious behavior problems.
- Take the lead in conducting an investigation of complaints from students, parents, teachers and staff concerning a student’s behavior.
- Ensure that the behaviors being monitored of students are aligned with the behaviors of employees preferred by the industry.
- Attend to all students referred to the Discipline Office and by the Guidance Counselor.
- Support Student Council, Student Affairs and SFS’s events and activities.
- Provide assistance during enrolment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Should possess any Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Education, Psychology, Guidance Counseling.
- Experience as Discipline Officer, Life Coaching or Counseling is required.
- Self-driven in achieving or exceeding assigned KPIs
- Highly organized
- Sense of urgency in meeting deadlines
- Ability to:
- deliver on-time and reliable reports
- resolve conflicts in students, faculty, and staff.
- cooperate, assist, or work with the Guidance Counselor and SFS department.
- act professionally and decide objectively especially during stressful situations
- remove any bias towards different cultural practices, values, behaviors, etc. of students
- relate, understand and empathize with all the concerns of students.
- use skills that include observing, listening deeply, asking empowering questions, challenging and motivating.
