Dev Intern  

We are looking for hardworking and responsible IT Interns whose primary focus will be to assist the development team with one or more of the following:

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications (chatbots).
• Implement security and data protection.
• Integrate data storage solutions.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient codes.

1. Front End
Tasks will include but not limited to:

• Set up CMS websites (like Wordpress or OpenCart) and installing plugins.
• Source code management(Gits)
• Customize existing websites and do bug fixes.
• Convert PSD designs to HTML / CSS themes.
• Creating wireframes
• Test sites and find bugs.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or any related field.
• Has any experience with the following: HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript.
• Understands backend technologies such as NodeJS.
• JS frameworks such as angular and react
• Git.
• Consuming REST APIs.
• UI/UX experience
• Understands MVC frameworks.
• Passion for learning and becoming the best Developer.
• Greatly enjoys programming and solving logic problems.
• Willing to work in our office in Ortigas.

2. Backend
Tasks will include but not limited to:

• Build chatbots with Bot Frameworks, Node.js rest APIs and NoSQL
• Source code versioning(Gits)
• Creation, maintenance, and consumption of internal core APIs and 3rd party APIs
• Perform system migrations.
• Learn new technologies.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or any related field.
• Has any experience with the following:
• Structuring, building, and retrieving from databases.
• Javascript agnostic.
• JS frameworks such as Node.js(restify / express)
• Git.
• Designing and developing REST APIs.
• Understands MVC frameworks.
• Passion for learning and becoming the best Developer.
• Greatly enjoys programming and solving logic problems.
• Willing to work in our office in Ortigas.
