Job Description
As an Accounting Assistant, you will be providing accounting and clerical assistance to your designated team and assisting with inventory and record maintenance for your assigned stores. Specifically, you will be:
- Updating and maintaining data files and records
- Recording information, processing, and filing forms
- Assisting your designated team in processing various transactions
- Preparing checks, deposits, summaries, budgets, and/or basic financial reports
- Tracking and resolving accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Performing other basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Technology, Accounting Management, or any Accounting related course
- Self-motivated, diligent and highly organized with good work ethic
- Detail-oriented with good analytical skill
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office apps like Excel
- 1-3 years work experience in an office environment and/or in a related field preferred
