Job Description
Provide production support for Linux/Windows servers, handle configurations, installations, monitoring, testing and support of Linux systems, Monitor all DB/Linux/Windows servers’ disk utilization, CPU and memory usage, Responsible for leading the installation, setup, roll-out, and maintenance of all Linux based infrastructure projects and operations support activities, Open Source re-engineering, and RND.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of variety or IT infrastructure and operating systems (linux/windows)
- Resolving/configuration of complex technical problems
- Managing servers (Virtualized and Bare metal)
- Managing database servers (Mysql, MSSQL)
- Automation
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years working with in a position that primarily focussed on Linux operating systems (preferably DEBIAN/UBUNTU/RHEL/CentOS)
- 1-2 years working with Windows server operating systems
- Willing to learn in Cisco, and Juniper Appliance (Routing and Switching)
- 1-2 years experience managing monitoring software (e.g. Sitescope, OpenNMS, Cacti, Gomez, and Alertsite)
- Experience and Knowledge in Windows Server Services (DHCP, DNS, ADDS, NFS)
- Experience supporting Apache/Tomcat/Jboss/NginX web application servers
- Familiar with scripting (Bash, Perl, Python)
- Active Directory, Exchange, Drupal, WordPress, Databases (DB2, MYSQL, SQL, Postgres, Informix),
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to travel and do shift work
