Job Description
- The Storeman handles receiving, storage and preservation of the stock, parts issuance, turn-in process of the unserviceable and the dispatching of parts in accordance with the approve Maintenance Manual.
- The Storeman directly reports to the Supervisor—Technical Stores.
- Responsible in handling and reporting the following:
- (a)Newly Arrived Parts;
- (b)Inspected but Discrepant Part (DNR-Discrepancy Notice Report);
- (c)Rotable Issuance and Awaiting Off-Unit for Turn-in;
- (d)Unserviceable for Repair;
- (e)Hold Item used for troubleshooting;
- (f)Wheels, Brakes, Oxygen Bottle and Ovens Inventory Status and Location; and
- (g) Fast Moving Consumable and Expendable.
- Assists Quality Inspector or its designee/delegated Quality Inspector, in conducting incoming part and document verification.
- Handles DG and ESD Sensitive Devices in accordance with and fully complying to Maintenance Manual, 5J DGM and DGR references.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.
- Has good written and oral communication skills
- Knowledgeable in MS Office
- Must be honest and assertive
