Job Description
- Determine and manage cargo payload capacity and evaluate rates per cubic meter that would maximize revenue per origin and destination
- Recognize overbooking factors, discounted allocation and respective inventory control.
- Forecast revenues, cargo capacity, cargo load factor and yield per cubic meter for weekly, monthly and annual budgeting and evaluation.
- Identify seasonal needs and manage relevant strategies to stabilize imbalances in cargo demand
- Prepare periodic financial reports, dashboards and executive scoreboards that would help in analyzing the performance of each sector needed by top management in making important decisions.
- Coordinate with Commercial Group, Cargo Operations and NCC for disruption related decisions.
- Coordinate with other departments and organizations to improve or streamline the department’s business processes using industry standard strategies
- Understand current cargo market performance and trends, allowing a quick and responsive action to changing market situation.
- Perform tasks and other special projects assigned by Manager for Cargo Network Planning, Capacity Control, and Revenue Management
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree/College Degree preferably in Economics, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Statistics
- Financial analytics role or a relevant field of experience is an advantage
- Demonstrates strong proficiency in MS word processing, MS Excel Spreadsheet, and MS Power Point
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be fluent in English
- Ability to take charge and drive initiatives, self-motivated individual with a follow-up mentality & broad scope view of company objectives
- Organized, detail oriented and professional
- Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues
