Job Description
1. Supervision of Base Checks
- Review the available Grantt Chart prior to start of the work
- Oversee the performance of the work package and additional work at AOM facility to ensure that agreed tasks completion timelines are followed
- Authorize the performance of additional works based on guidelines issued by the Manager – Base Maintenance Engineering
- Submit daily work progress reports covering the activities on the aircraft in line with the Grantt chart
- Maintain updated work status to enable quick response to queries from other departments
- Exercise the whole content of the contract between Cebu Pacific and the AMO to minimize the cost of the maintenance check without compromising aircraft safety
2. Operational Communications
- Highlight to all concerned parties all major and repetitive technical defects/issues encountered during the course of the check to prevent reoccurrence in other aircraft and to ensure that the Cebu Pacific fleet is at its best condition and configuration
3. Safety Management
- Monitor safety in base checks and brings any concerns to the attention of the Manger – Base Maintenance Engineering
- To actively participate in CEB SMS by ensuring that highest reasonable level of safety performance is achieved by complying with all applicable safety and security laws, regulations and standards and by reporting all accidents, incidents and hazards
4. Administrative Management
- Provide a daily BME status report to the Manager – Base Maintenance Engineering
- Review and validate additional billings
- Provide Base Maintenance reports based on the KPIs
- Perform other related duties that superior may assign
- To observe Company rules and regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Aeronautical Engineering, Avionics Technology or Aircraft Maintenance Technology
- Must have A320 Family and/or ATR72 and/or A330 trainings or ratings
- Preferably with 5 years experience in Aviation Engineering field
