Job Description
- Monitors and supervises daily routine facilities maintenance function
- Monitors and supervises repair activities to deliver timely completion
- Prepares and facilitates material replenishment required for Facilities Maintenance Section
- Daily inspection of facilities to ensure operation
- Handles/directs in-house construction project processes as required
- Coordinates with end-users regarding specifications and other requirements related to the construction of new offices/facilities or renovation works as per requirement.
- As a Draftsman, prepares working drawing and estimates based on specifications and requirements as well as from Engineering Standards - per project
- Coordinate with World Engineering all construction projects above Php. 500,000.00. Facilities budget approvals, obtains pre-requisite documents and permits as required.
- Transacts directly with contractors and execute P.O. for projects costing up to Php. 500,000.00 as required
- Evaluates and verifies actual completion against contracted scope of works per project
- Initiates payment processing of completed projects
- Develops/improves procedures and programs associated with construction projects (renovation, fit-out and new leased-areas) as well as maintenance for building and facilities as necessary
- Conducts site inspection for construction of new facilities per project
- Monitors all special building and facilities engineering/construction projects of the Company
- As a Draftsman, updates all as built drawings for: Civil/Architectural, Plumbing and Sanitary, Electrical and HVAC for 5J Head Office, Outstations: Airport Services, Cargo, GSE & Catering Services and Ticketing Offices, among others
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Architecture, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
- Licensed Architect/Engineer is an advantage but not required.
- Required language(s): English, Filipino
- With at least three (3) years of extensive knowledge and experience with the use of AutoCADD Software
- Knowledgeable with Project Cost Estimates and Project Scheduling
- Knowledgeable with Office Space Planning to consider: ergonomics, space process flow, safety and engineering operations and maintenance work aspects, value engineering, including National Building Code of the Phil., Phil. Electrical Code, PSME Code, Fire Code of the Philippines, among others
- Preferably with at least three (3) years work experience in an Architectural Design Firm or from a Construction Company
