Job Description
Over all responsible for the coordination of end-user hardware and software deployments through the Service Desk. The position oversees the IT Service Desk operations and also contributes to incident and problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end-users. Responsibility includes, but is not limited to:
- managing internal and external service desk staff;
- developing and maintaining procedures related to monitoring, tracking and coordination of Service Desk activity;
- managing equipment inventories and overseeing the development of end-user guides, tips and learning materials pertaining to the various ISD services.
The position also assists the Director in implementing and supporting technology platforms to meet the goals of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience as a Manager in any IT Support function, facilities management, help desk operation or IT Training services
- At least 5 years & experienced employees specializing in Technical & Helpdesk Support or equivalent. Job role in IT Support/Helpdesk or equivalent.
- Competent in Help Desk Operations, IT Asset Management, ITIL, Helpdesk tools
