Job Description
- Responsible to perform a variety of tasks (Showroom, Events).
- Responsible for ingress/egress of items during events and the like
- Handling of important files (Costing, Contracts, RFP, PO etc)
- Monitoring of Shipment Status
- Monitoring of inventory stocks
- Responsible for Forecasting Fast and Regular Stocks
- Knowledgable of all Items in the inventory
- Coordinating with Suppliers / Vendors
- Sourcing for client requirements under local and/or foreign suppliers
- Requesting for quotation and samples to local and/or foreign supplier
- Negotiating Price and delivery with local and/or foreign suppliers
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales
- Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
- Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
- Skills: Advance knowledge and understanding of purchasing management, methods, practices, concepts, principles, and procedures.
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to supervise and train assigned employee including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignment
- Ability to established and maintains effective working relationships with supplier and end user
- Ability to evaluate supplier bids in accordance with establishes criteria, such as specification, price, service and delivery
- Understanding and familiar with government laws, regulations, and procedure regarding import process
