Job Description

Core duties and responsibilities include the following, but are not meant to be all inclusive.

  • Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Running regular checks on network and data security
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
  • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
  • Designing training programs and workshops for staff
  • Conducting regular system audits
  • Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
  • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
  • Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
  • Providing direction for IT team members
  • Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
  • Receive complaints and resolve problems
  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
  • Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
  • Prepare and submit performance reports
  • Decide on reward and promotion based on performance
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
  • Performs other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 5-8 Yrs Experience in Information Technology Management, Employee specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
  • Strong Managerial Skills
  • Required Skill(s): Vuesion, Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, Internet Security, Windows Server, Avaya, Fortinet Firewall
  • Ability to problem solve in a timely manner by gathering and analyzing information skillfully; and then develop solutions as appropriate
  • Manages difficult situations. Responds promptly to employees need; Meets commitments
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
  • Remain Flexible with all aspects in the department
  • Integrating new and upgraded systems.
  • Monitoring systems operations and make recommendations as needed.
  • Developing technological procedural and operations manuals.
  • IT staff selection and training.
