Receptionist  

Front desk employees are often the first employee that the customer or the public comes into contact with, so he/she is responsible for leaving a good first impression for the organization. Help guests complete registration cards and then assigns rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Places guest and room information in the appropriate front desk racks and communicates this information to the appropriate hotel personnel. Performing various administrative and clerical tasks; including filing, answering telephones, organizing documents, giving information to customers

• Greet guests and escort them to specific destinations
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs
• Handle inquiries and ocular
• Possess a working knowledge of the reservations department. Take same day reservations and future reservations when necessary.
• Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services
• Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms
• Performs cashiering tasks like bill / invoice settlement, posting charges to the guest
• Maintain an organized front desk area
• Create and maintain updated documents and spreadsheets
• Assist in the inventory of stock of office supplies
• Perform other administrative support tasks
• Perform additional duties as requested by the management as and when required

• College Graduate
• Significant work experience handling guest service responsibilities, preferably in a hotel/reception setting
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and all other relevant computer programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Proactive approach to dealing with issues that may arise
• Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize and work under pressure
• Willing to work in San Pablo City, Laguna
• Willing to extend working hours and during holidays and weekends
