Job Description
Carisle Media is in search of a talented and skilled Junior Web Developer to join our team. The Junior Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our website and web applications. They will also work closely with a team of developers, designers, and project managers.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic knowledge of front-end frameworks and technoloogies. They will assist in optimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
Overall, we are looking for a results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about doing technical tasks for the company.
In this role, you will provide:
Web Development Support
- Assisting with all aspects of website and application maintenance, development, and creation of dynamic web pages
- Collaborating with developers to implement new web features.
- Converting various media types into compatible web formats.
Application Testing and Maintenance
- Assisting with the testing and maintenance of both backend and front-end applications.
- Using user feedback to identify and correct issues on the websites.
Innovation and Technology Exploration
- Brainstorming and exploring new tech applications such as digital storage and mobile technology.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology and programming trends.

Minimum Qualifications
- Web Development Experience. Demonstrated expertise in web development, with at least 2 years of successful work as a web developer or any related experience.
- Technical Skills. Proficient in coding languages such as HTML, Python, JQuery, JSON, and Ajax – and capable of using Figma, Klaviyo, and Kajabi.
- Related Bachelor’s Degree. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
- Adaptability. Ability to quickly learn various software, frameworks, and technologies as needed.
- Working with a Team. Strong communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and work effectively in a team environment.
