Job Description

Reporting directly to the Production Assistant Manager, this role is in charge of dealing with post-production of floor plan 2D and 3D products and client rejections, urgent job creation and operations team coordination, while working alongside QC Team Sydney on project delivery within required deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Production:

  • Works on floor plan rejections using Autocad, and then sending them to QC Team Sydney for final proof
  • Reports directly to the Production Assistant Manager to maintain product delivery standards from a quality standpoint;
  • Assists in the production and/or rejection of other 3D and digital products such as 3D Floorplan, Virtual Staging, etc. using 3DMax, Vray and Photoshop software;
  • Monitors and manages rejection lists using job tracker on a daily basis, and ensures all rejections are accounted for and submitted within required deadline;
  • Assists with the creation of site plan pre-draws and/or floorplans when not working on rejections;
  • Drafts emergency and priority floor plans within the shift or as deemed necessary;
  • Reports common errors and concerns to the floor plan supervisors and/or managers, and assists them in cascading information and QC feedback for production improvement;
  • Assists in quality control of floor plans during production shift as deemed necessary;
  • Prepares reports and other pertinent documentation concerning floor plan data tracking, provider records, etc.;
  • Assists in assigning floor plans before start of production shift as deemed necessary.

Communication & Liaison

  • Liaises with QC Team Sydney for making amendments of rejected jobs, either:
  • Rejection from Studio
  • Rejection from client
  • Coordinates with Account Coordinators via phone or e-mail in the case wherein an appointment has concerns and cascading it to floorplan team;
  • Answers client inquiries such as: bookings, rejections, predraws, pricing, etc. via email
  • Responsible in coordinating and submitting of jobs to Account
  • Coordinators outside the jobtrack system;
  • Contacts floorplan providers on job discrepancies or other inquiries concerning the appointment;

Others

  • Assists and extends support in the development of new products when necessary;
  • Attends weekly catch-up meetings with QC Team Sydney to be up-to-date with production and operations concerns;
  • Carries out any other work-related tasks deem necessary by Production Managers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of Architecture course, Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Architectural Drafting or equivalent with minimum 2-3 years experience of the same nature OR;
  • Must have at least proven experience as Floorplan Editor with good
  • Performance and Accuracy ratings to be able to manage fast-paced revisions in the standards carried-out by the department, or in a similar role with no infractions for at least 1 year;
  • Must have above average AutoCAD 2D skills;
  • Must be knowledgeable in 3DMax, Vray and Photoshop;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Good architectural knowledge and strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent ability to multi-task working on more than one task at a time, ability to self-manage and work independently;
  • Able to prepare reports using computer applications such as Word, Excel,
  • Powerpoint, Google apps etc.;
  • Able to produce and deliver presentations when necessary;
  • Ability to use computer programs required to execute process improvement methodologies;
  • Must have the initiative and strong dependability to organise and manage workload efficiently;
  • Able to establish customer relations and internal professional relationships;
  • Must be proactive in nature with the ability to work unsupervised over extended periods of time;
  • Must have a personable and positive attitude;
  • Willing to work in morning shift with minor adjustments on schedule during Daylight Savings time;
  • Experience in the real estate or marketing industry is preferred, but not required.
