Job Description
- Accountable for day to day operations of the warehouse and assists the general manager in the overall mission of managing and administering the warehouse to ensure efficient and effective operations. Maintains communication between and other managers. Provides support, guidance and training to the staff. Identifies and recommends needed training to increase personal skills and knowledge and discusses evaluation results and feedback to each employee.
- Proposes new operational changes for a more efficient and effective process
- Create and maintain warehouse operational standards and resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Accountable to all stocks at the warehouse
- Conducts proper reporting to management for any discrepancies, changes in the warehouse.
- Leads and support the team’s decision effectively.
- Responsible in planning, organizing and initiating process or plans in order to achieve committed service to clients and to the company.
- Adheres to company rules and regulations.
- Takes necessary action to branch concerns and problems.
- Maintain employee work schedules including job assignments, rotation and training.
- Takes responsibility in taking care of assigned and company’s assets as well as equipment within area of responsibility.
- Adheres to health and safety policies of the company.
- Coordinate with all related departments on the delivery schedule to plan efficiently and effectively
- Monitor and secure all related delivery process: Receiving, Picking, Delivery and Pullout and maintain inventory
- Report all defective units and facilitate process of pullout for repair
- Solve issues related to delivery delays and errors
- Familiarize all products and check for correct price tags per department
- Utilize warehouse software for efficiency
- Make sure that the warehouse is properly organized
- Performs other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Filipino
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): Warehouse Management, Logistics, Inventory, Planning, Judgement and Decision Making, Problem Solving
- Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
