Core Function: Expert in all functional test phases and activities. Control product quality by ensuring all key resources provide quality test results.

As a QA:

• Lead QA effort estimation, requirement analysis, and test planning
• Request and follow up necessary environment/mall configuration from stakeholders
• Track requirement changes, and strategize when they affect timeline and quality
• Organize all test documents and project tickets for better tracking and auditing
• Ensure all pre-testing and testing activities are accomplished per deployment
• Perform quality checkpoint by ensuring sanity/smoke testing passed both in QA and Production Server before accepting the build from developers
• Conduct usability testing
• Execute or delegate retesting, regression, and integration activities
• Run automation suite
• Create bug or improvement JIRA tickets when an anomaly is found in the product
• Manage the overall distribution process including sending of release notice and maintaining Distribution and Version dashboards

As a project leader:

• Review QA effort estimation, test plan, high-level test scenarios, and data mapping
• Conduct exploratory testing
• Monitoring and controlling process and project compliance to quality and timeline
• Setup, plan, and track automation activities and progress
• Delegates and monitors projects of experienced testers
• Provides training to his subordinates
• Develop testing strategies to mitigate project risks
• As a middle manager:
• Monitor and evaluate performance and compliance of their subordinates with the organization's needs
• Coach and mentor subordinates
• Be in contact with both operational employees and team leader
• Fulfill objective key results (OKR) with the team leader and subordinates
• Contribute in organization-impacting decisions and rollout needed action plans

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Quality Management, Computer Science, or such.
• 6-9 years of experience in software testing
• At least 0.5 year of experience in software automation scripting and testing
• Has an in-depth experiences in analyzing multi-domain and complex requirements
• Capable of producing feasible effort estimates and test plan
• Excellent on producing use cases or test scenarios
• Mastered producing, prioritizing, and executing test cases
• Expert on functional testing
• Can execute and judge automation script quality
• Has the flexibility to work with multi-national teams
• Has the willingness/ability to work with multiple projects at once
• Has the ability to present/speak in front of the public
• Experienced managing a team of 2 or more
• Has an expert judgement skills especially during pressing and crucial situations affecting the timeline, quality, process, and people
• Can adapt/mentor latest testing tools and technologies

Preferences:

• Can automate using javascript or python
• Has a software testing experience in E-Commerce, Hosting, and Payment related platforms
• Has an excellent UX/UI testing ability
• Capable of doing non-functional tests (performance/load/stress, security, vulnerability, and or white-box tests)
