The Pharmacist is responsible in ensuring that the best medication is available in the facility. He/she performs pharmacy services to provide the right medication to the right patient at the right time according to acceptable policies and procedures and standards of practice. The tasks and responsibilities, apart from dispensing prescription medicines and supplies, include working with other medical personnel to provide treatments and advise patients on new and existing drug options, offering information about side effects and what medications are best for their condition and ensuring the safe and secure storage of all medicines and hospital supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in Product Registrations and handling of regulatory issues with BFAD and other government agencies.
- Technical skills in Hospital Information System.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work carefully, methodically, and accurately.
- Self-motivated.
