Job Description
Join JENIUS Solution team as Junior Developer to deliver banking reinvented!
You'll be:
- Designing and implementing new features for Jenius customer-facing client and internal apps (including backend systems)
- Optimising applications to maximize speed and scale
- Writing well-designed, efficient code that meet the relevant security standards
- For mobile developers: Build custom native user interfaces using the latest iOS, Android standards and techniques
- Integrate with external and internal web services and interfaces
- Participate in software requirements analysis, collaborative design and code review, and test plan creation.
- Optimize UI and application code for efficiency, reusability and performance
- Ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications
- Debugging and root cause analysis
Minimum Qualifications
Academic Qualifiacations:
- Undergraduate with a BS degree in Computer Science of related field
Professional Experience:
- 5+ years professional experience in software development
- 2 years or more of professional experience in mobile software development (having a published mobile app ready to use is a plus)
- Building complex applications for iOS using Objective-C/Swift integrated with test units and other frameworks
- Agile development methodologies and working models
- Excellent source control skills and discipline, e.g. Git, SVN, RTC, etc.
Technical Skills:
- Software development experience with Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices.
- Proficient with software design patterns and domain driven design.
- Strong analytical, design, and programming skills.
- Experience developing web services.
- For Mobile Dev (iOS): have solid knowledge in building mobile app using Objective C/Swift. Proved by several projects being done
- For Mobile Dev (Android): have solid knowledge in building mobile app using android development tool, e.g. android studio, etc. Proved by several projects being done
- For Backend Dev: Deep knowledge and experience in java using spring, hibernate, jdbc, struts.
- For Front End (web): Strong technical skill in Java, JS, preferable have developed angular, reactJS. Having good visual/art in developing web/mobile web
Competencies:
- Experience with any of the following: JAVA/J2EE, RUBY, MYSQL, NoSQL C++, C#, .NET, PYTHON, SHAREPOINT or PERL.
- Experience with web server technologies such as WebLogic, Apache, nginx, varnish
- Experience with software reuse methodologies and tools, preferably design tools based on the Universal Modeling Language, Java Applets, Java Script, and XML
- Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, Spring Framework, Struts
- Ability to prepare technical documentation\Solid oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences.
