Job Description
- Handle import & other logistics-related activities
- Check & encode items for creation of purchase orders in the system, batch the orders & send to supplier.
- Check the Duties and Taxes computation (with the appropriate Harmonized System code) before endorsing to Logistics Manager for approval.
- Compare the actual deliveries against the sales invoice before receiving in the system
- Conduct investigation if there's deviation between the plan & actual deliveries
- Make sure that all import-related billings are processed on a specified given time
- Evaluate & communicate broker's performance on a quarterly basis
- Communicate with internal & external customers for logistics related matter
- Conduct investigation in case of discrepancies of actual stocks against the system
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of any 4 - year business related courses with at least 1-3 years of work experience in related field is required
- Must be knowledgeable in logistics processes such as importation, movement of goods & documentation of transactions
- Working knowledge in SAP is preferred but not required
- Knowledgeable in inventory/warehousing
- Excellent in both oral and written communications skills
- Patient, highly driven, and highly motivated
